dear reader,
today we impart the view
that the national is still very wonderful.

driving northward today, in a puzzle of traffic, watching the cars bleeding into one another, i had the brilliant concept of [again] having a historical walk through their albums chronologically.

it.was.great.

"if she knows you're paper, you know she'll have to burn you." -cardinal song

women are so capable of starting a fire that can torch another... at times it saddens me. i never wish to be one of those who hurts others by the power which lies behind being a woman.

women should serve with their strengths, and never wound by them.

[but of course we shall all from time to time.]

oh the national. your lyrics are so fitting and artfully said.

i love you. [i do. bands are quite lovable.]

i conclude that i must blog more frequently on this sort of blog, as my tumblr blog [which i may have been using this past year] is less personal in a readable way than this blog, and i enjoy a good DIARYish blog from time to time.

today i am of a few opinions.

autumn should not be served until september [it was served last evening with a heap of grey clouds yesterday and chilly breezes.]
its not about summer this year; i never fully entered summer. its about the principle. I DEMAND MY SUMMER. i am entitled, regardless of my being a northwestern-er.

banjos belong in cornfields. as do i. i would like to romp through a corn field in the hot summer sun with a smile on my face one of these days.

whoever invented traffic should be arrested. i'm cutting traffic out of my diet for a few days i think. its really giving me heartburn.

i am not truly a woman if it is determined by having an instant love for infants and a desire to mother the world. i have never been curious about other people's business... to me, gossip is boring, and results in grumpiness when i must sit and listen to it being released.
i have no longing to pick up the nearest available baby [i find them scary and, frankly, wierd.]
i do not wish to tell other people what to do, i cannot even tell myself what to do! sometimes i wonder what my place IS here. until i sit behind a piano...then i know.

...i am a music maker!

i live with wonderful people. [they are so kind and they're letting my piano live with us.] !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i feel like a woman getting married must feel.
but i get to move in with a piano!

i am the luckiest person alive.
